I saw this video for the first time back in mid-2007 and was “stunned”. Victor Wooten has been at the top of my favorite bass players list since I saw him live in 1991 while performing with Bela Fleck. His skill is unmatched and his “slap performance” in this video with his brother, Regi, is nothing short of AMAZING! While Regi performs at an extremely high level of competence himself, Victor steals the show.

This is one of the craziest sounding things I have heard in a while. I love Victor’s playing though, and his brother has a very distinct style of playing.
