Noteworthy Music Site #2: The Sheet Music Arrive
Download a PDF of your favorite [tag]classical[/tag] [tag]music[/tag] [tag]piece[/tag] for [tag]free[/tag]. This is great site, with an easy to use interface with no hassle navigation.
Sheet Music Archives offers musical [tag]compositions[/tag] from your favorite early composer
Albeniz ||[tag]Bach[/tag] || Bach (C.P.E.) || Balakirev || Bartok || [tag]Beethoven[/tag] || Bellini || Bizet || Boccherini || Borodin || Brahms || Chabrier || Chaminade || Chopin || Clementi || Couperin || Czerny || Debussy || Dvorak || Elgar || Faure || Field || Franck || Glazunov || Gottschalk || Granados || Grieg || Griffes || Handel || Hanon || [tag]Haydn[/tag] || Henselt || Joplin || Kalinnikov || Kreutzer || Liadov || Liapunov || Liszt || Macdowell || Massenet || Mendelssohn || Moszkowski || Moussorgsky || [tag]Mozart[/tag] || Offenbach || Paderewski || Paganini || Ponchielli || Prokofiev || Purcell || Rachmaninoff || Raff || Rameau || Ravel || Reger || Rode || Rossini || Rubinstein || Saint-Saens || Satie || Scarlatti || Scharwenka || Schubert || Schumann || Scriabin || Sinding || [tag]Stravinsky[/tag] || Taneyev || Traditional || Tschaikovsky || Verdi || von Weber || Wagner || Widor
All the music is from/in the public domain and copyright does not apply to your usage and performance of the music. The site offers a maximum download of two pieces per day due to bandwidth limitations but offers the ability to purchase a CD with all of their music for the reasonable price of $19.99- not a bad price.
I appreciate the simplicity of the site. It’s not overly crowded with ads and is very easy to navigate the various screens. Before you purchase another “edition” of a classic, check the Sheet Music Archive to see if it is available. Doing so just might save you time and money- something most musicians don’t in abundance! :)
