February 10, 2008 By: J. Pisano Category: Technical Chat No Comments →

Hey all,

I’ve taken a tip from Will and am going to embed the PowerPoint presentation I spoke about in a previous post into this post.  If you are interested in the “power” of R.S.S. or even “what it is”.  This PowerPoint is a good start.

To find this PowerPoint directly and/or view it in a larger format visit this link:
http://www.authorstream.com/User-Presentations/pisanojm/  You may also, email this and find other ways to share it at authorstream.com.

This PowerPoint is licensed under a creative commons 3.0 license.   You are free to share it for non-commercial use as long as you don’t modify it and attribute authorship.

Please let me know if you have any comments.

RSS Presentation From TI:ME/MMC Now Online

I’ve had a large number of requests for the PowerPoint that I performed in Grand Rapids, Michigan to be made available for people to use within the classroom, etc.  I have just finished modifying the presentation for web publication and have released it here:

http://www.authorstream.com/User-Presentations/pisanojm/

I am currently testing the usage of Author Streamas a viable entity for hosting my Powerpoints.  There are a number of solutions out there; I’ve looked at quite a few of them.   I like the features of this one the best… so far.  Although, I may be publishing these elsewhere as well.  The reason I do not publish them here at mustech.net is that I only have a limited amount of bandwidth per month and thinks like PowerPoint take up an awful lot of  that amount.

Please let me know what you if you have any comments about the presentation.
