It’s been a busy month for me this go-around and I’ve yet to officially post the CALL for articles for the October, 2011 Blog Carnival. So without further ado, please submit your articles to the Music Education Blog Carnival consideration cue as soon as possible. This carnival will be posted on October 5th, so I’m going to take submissions until Tuesday, October 4th… So, there is still a little time if you don’t have a blog article written, but would still like to write one specifically for the this month’s carnival. What is the Music Education Blog Carnival?
~The new Music Education Blog Carnival was created and is maintained by Dr. Joseph Pisano of MusTech.net. Its function is to promote the great work being done by Music Education Bloggers across the Internet. The carnival seeks to provide a free online avenue that provides useful Music Education materials and information to the Internet community while providing greater exposure for those writing these great blogs.

Joseph M. Pisano, Ph.D. is the creator of many education websites, a lecturer, clinician, trumpeter, and conductor. He is currently the Associate Chair of Music and Director of Bands in the Calderwood School of Arts at Grove City College in PA. He been named a TI:ME Teacher of the Year, received the JEN Jazz Educator Award and the PA Citation of Excellence. He is a past Vice President of the Technology Institute for Music Educators and the current Vice-President of the PA Intercollegiate Bandmasters Association.
