Submitted by J. Pisano on March 13, 2010 – 11:16 pmView Comments

The Pennsylvania Band Master’s Association’s Intercollegiate Band Festival is being held in conjunction with the College Band Directors National Association’s Eastern Conference Division in West Chester, PA this weekend.  Dozens of college’s from throughout Western Pennsylvania are being represented by the “best of the best” of each of the Colleges and Universities in attendance.

On Friday, I gave a presentation to about 40 of the attendees of the Eastern CBDNA conference entitled Copyright for Ensemble Directors and Music Teachers.   The handout from this session may be found on here on MusTech.Net by clicking here: ECBDNA_Handout_2010

The two concert’s that I was able to attend today were very good.  The first concert was by the William’s College Opus Zero Band and the second by the West Chester University Wind Ensemble.  Tomorrow, I will be attending the 2010 PA Intercollegiate Band Concert and am looking forward to it.  This year it is conducted by Dr. Dennis Fisher of the University of North Texas.
