    Thanks Dale, I did run into a legacy issue with PodPress. PodPress hasn’t updated their plugin since 8.8 and it’s been a problem for a number of people for some time now. I switched to the “podcasting plugin”, but I haven’t gone back and changed a number of of my old podcast posts to use the “podcasting plugin”. Oh well…. More work for the weary!

    WordPress is cross platform but needs a server environment to run on. I would suggest starting at WordPress.Com for their free hosted version, then later if you like, you can grab a free copy of the self-hosted WordPress at WordPress.org and host it yourself. The software is free, but you will have to pay for a host. WordPress.Com sites are free for the majority of users.
