Sphere: Related ContentI’ve had a large number of requests for the PowerPoint that I performed in Grand Rapids, Michigan to be made available for people to use within the classroom, etc. I have just finished modifying the presentation for web publication and have released it here:
http://www.authorstream.com/User-Presentations/pisanojm/
I am currently testing the usage of Author Streamas a viable entity for hosting my Powerpoints. There are a number of solutions out there; I’ve looked at quite a few of them.  I like the features of this one the best… so far. Although, I may be publishing these elsewhere as well. The reason I do not publish them here at mustech.net is that I only have a limited amount of bandwidth per month and thinks like PowerPoint take up an awful lot of that amount.Â
Please let me know what you if you have any comments about the presentation.

I believe that if you embed a presentation using code from your Authorstream presentation (they have an embed code box right next to the presentation as in Youtube), you can have the presentation playing on your site but your site bandwidth is not used.
Authorstream pays for hosting and access of your presentation. This is actually one of the prime reasons why I like these Web 2.0 sites. They let you host your stuff and even integrate it on your own site without you having to pay anything.
Another place (also from the same company Authorgen) for your presentations is Wiziq. It is better to put your presentations here if you have education related ones. Here is the URL: http://www.wiziq.com/content/

Will,
Thank you so much for stopping by and the great tips. I did not notice the embed link on Authorstream, you can bet I’ll be using that from now on, I’m going to set up a static page here ,I think, for presentations, so they can be viewed to a fuller size (This mid area is a little small). I saw that the authorstream software allowed me to upload to wiziq.com but I didn’t take the time to find out what that was all about. If it is a more educational realted site, I’ll be using that as well to post the presentations.
I do use podomatic and youtube embeds here as well. I agree, whatever I can “push” off bandwithdth wise to othersites, the better!
Thanks for your expertise and advise! Please stop by antyime.

Ya i was’nt expecting embeds too and it kinda hit me when i saw it. I use Wiziq a lot for web conferencing in their virtual classroom, which also can be integrated in Moodle. Also check out their test section, where you can create questions and share the question page. I read about it here on their blog: http://wiziq.typepad.com/wiziqcom/2008/01/questions-and-a.html
Wiziq is free too and it’ll remain free as claimed in their blog and other places i’ve come across.

Hey, guys. You may not “know Jack” — but, Joe Pisano, is the REAL DEAL guy. The night before the TI:ME Conference in Grand Rapids, I found Joe’s site. It honestly just seemed a little TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.
I was a little afraid to sign up for this blog but then I read Joe’s comments that he would be attending/presenting at THE TI:ME CONFERENCE in Michigan! Wow.
I was totally blown away by what Joe knows. This guy is your NORMAL guy — at least in everyday vernacular. A wife and children. Hey, we actually had dinner and discussed what is being posted here online each and every day (and night too!).
Joe really does know his stuff AND he really DOES HELP YOU!
Go ahead. Take that leap of FAITH and join the team!
The new BLOGBRIDGE IS 100% INCREDIBLE. Joe if I haven’t anything else from you — which is totally false— I learned that the BLOGBRIDGE approach is absolutely the most brilliant way to read feeds, articles, etc. Thanks!
