Sphere: Related ContentFresh off the press: IBM announces “killer”office software for free. It includes Word Processing, Presentation and Spreadsheet applications. Free for all; individual, educational and business.
With a name like IBM, I wonder what this will do to the price of MS Office products in the future?

James,
How are you? Wow, talk about a blast from the past! I checked out your site on the above link and looks as though your playing chops are still up and at it! I have found memories of you and I playing some totally hip jazz in the hotel lobby of the OMNI in Florida. Hopefully we’ll jam again together some time…
I still remember your signature lick/tune… ba da dwee da ba da dwee da da… It was called flight or something right?
I’ve been a big fan of open office for some time. If you search the archives on mustech.net, you’ll find a couple of articles. Overall I’m not overly impressed with Lotus Symphony but it is one “heck” of a first roll out. It will only get more impressive…. In the end it will save a lot of people a lot of money. Kudos for them…
Warm regards,
Joe
