I guess this could be considered "work around", but it does indeed work. Recap: Make a new document with the voice that you want to hear. Make sure that both documents are open (the old one and the new one you just made). Cut the music from the old one with the MASS EDIT tool and PASTE it on to the correct line in the New Document.
